The KÕPS study system

Linking soil conditions, biodiversity, and ecosystem functions across forest landscapes

KÕPS

KÕPS is an experimental and observational study system designed to understand how soil conditions shape forest biodiversity and ecosystem processes. By combining field measurements, eDNA analyses, and carbon flux data, KÕPS aims to disentangle the mechanisms linking soils, decomposer communities, and ecosystem functioning across forest landscapes.
